Never give up what you want to do. The person with big dreams is more powerful than the one with all the facts.
(Albert Einstein)
What do you water your dreams with?
Be careful what you water your dreams with. Water them with worry and fear and you will produce weeds that choke the life from your dream. Water them with optimism and solutions and you will cultivate success… Always be on the lookout for ways to nurture your dream. (Lao Tzu)
Day dreaming again! Stop wasting your time! Dreams won’t feed you. Come down to reality. Have you heard these words said to you, too often for you to be comfortable or comforted by it.
You feel you just don’t measure up. You are filled with doubts. You feel that dreams are an indulgence you cannot afford. Your life is choked with worries and you have so many burdens you can hardly breathe. The very thing you cannot afford to do is the very thing your body is telling you that you need right now. Take a breather. Pause. The world won’t collapse because you’re taking a break.
Take time to dream again or to revisit an old dream. Your situation may seem hopeless but you’re not. The facts of life do not define what your life will become! Even broken hearts can be restored. You can become stronger. You have so much within you, more than you can imagine.
A recovered wound leaves a scar, and scars are there to remind you that you have overcome it!
Your situation may feel hopeless right now, but you’re not. You may feel weak right now. But you’re made of stronger stuff. You’re made to withstand and rebuild. You’re not a worrier but a little warrior. Your dreams are around to remind you that you’re better than you can imagine.
You must believe you can do better. It takes time to nurture dreams. Your maker has put a lot of good stuff in you. He has planted seeds of good ideas in your dreams, to give you a clue to your identity and perhaps to reveal a little of who He is. You have a place where you can draw hope from. Keep looking! He is nearer than you think.
Every good idea starts from the ability to dream. Dreams take you to places where you won’t go when you’re mired in reality. Many inventions have come about through someone’s dreams. So don’t give up. Nurture your dreams with persistence and you will be rewarded.
